Awards

The Choir boast an increasing list of successes in many choral competitions, which has included an extremely successful period (August 2004), including winning the competition for Male Choirs in the national Eisteddfod nine times.

The latest was in August 2003 when the choir won in the Meifod and surrounding Area Eisteddfod.


This is the Choir's record of achievement to date:-

  • Welsh National Eisteddfod - 1972, 1975, 1976, 1981, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2001, 2003.
  • Pontrhydfendigaid Eisteddfod – 1987 a 1991.
  • Best in Wales Challenge Shield B&I 1989.
  • Colwyn Choral Festival 1989.
  • Sligo International Choral Fesival 1995.
  • North Wales Choral Festival – Stena 1996 and 1999.
